INDIANAPOLIS, Jan. 15 () -- Rotnei Clarke, Butler University's top scorer, will miss at least two games with a neck injury sustained during the weekend win against Dayton,[url=http://www.parajumpersjackenoutlet.de/]long bear parajumpers[/url], the team says.The team said Clarke will not play this week in home games against Richmond and Gonzaga, WTHR-TV, Indianapolis, reported Monday.Head Athletic Trainer Ryan Galloy said Clarke saw a spine specialist Monday and an MRI "confirmed the presence of a significant neck sprain. His spinal cord and cervical discs were viewed [as] normal."Galloy said the team "felt it was in his best interest to hold him out this week.""Right now, he's sore and stiff, but he's out of the collar," Galloy said in a statement posted on butlersports.com. "The next question is when he can resume contact."Clarke was hurt after he was fouled during a layup attempt Saturday and was taken from the court on a stretcher. Doctors who treated him at a Dayton-area hospital said he had not sustained a fracture.Clarke is averaging 16.3 points per game for the Bulldogs (14-2, 2-0 Atlantic 10).
