He is a few inches shorter and about 20 pounds lighter than the suspect - a man residents say has broken into more than 40 east-end homes in the past two months.

John Kennedy, 67,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], doesn't know who climbed into his basement last Friday through an open window.
He only heard the burglar fumbling around in his dining room - then caught a flash of movement as the man made his getaway,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych].
"I don't know how he managed to get in without making any noise,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych]," Kennedy said yesterday. "He would have had to drop three feet to the ground from that window."
When he ran downstairs, the thief was out the back door with an envelope of cash, Kennedy's grey winter coat and his wallet, containing all his identification. Known to steal a snack or a quick drink while on the prowl, the thief pocketed a packet of cigarettes at this stop.
Kennedy's wallet was found streets away later in the day, with everything except his library card and the money. "It was in the same place where I keep the cash,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], so it must have fallen onto the ground," he said of the card. "I was lucky."
