More than anything else, shoes reflect my mood: I wear heels when I'm feeling good,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], sparkly ones when I feel like having fun, sneakers when I'm feeling comfy or lazy,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], flats when I feel cute. And when I'm having an off day,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], it's amazing how much slipping on a pair of fabulous high heels can lift my spirits and get me feeling sexy and confident. Shoes just make me smile wearing them,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], building an outfit around them,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], shopping for them. I'm a bargain shopper,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], and I consider finding a great pair of shoes for a good deal one of life's not-so-little pleasures.
My shoes are my vehicle for self-expression,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], which is why I have so many (100 and counting,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], tucked into cubby holes in wooden shoe organizers in my closets). Yes,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], my clothes and bags are, too, but the standards of dress codes and practicality sometimes trump self-expression. But even if you're forced to wear a conservative suit in court or you need a big, schlumpy bag to carry all your stuff,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], no judge is going to throw you out because your stilettos have a blood-red sole. (Not that I wear stilettos. Not anymore.)
I can be quirky or kooky,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], cool or caliente,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], brooding in black or mad for color, depending on my mood and the shoes I choose. No one really needs that many shoes I have many because,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], for one thing,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], shoes are more affordable than clothes or bags,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], but mostly it's because I have a big personality and lots of things to express! But don't tell my banker.
