I decided to begin a new series entitled: Traders Village Featured Merchant of the Month. For those that are not acquainted with Traders Village,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], they're one of the Nation's largest outdoor swap meets. Loop 410, San Antonio,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], Texas 78242.
The title may be misleading as I may feature 2 merchants on some months. For my initial article I am doing just so. The first is Merriest Makers,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], a children's fashion boutique and the second article is on Rafter C Trading Post- which have a variety of Old West Style items.
First on the agenda- Merriest Makers. This little but quaint shop is run by a mother and daughter team- Lizzette Couture and her mom at Booth 839- they actually have mini streets here, so this address is on 8th Street.
This Boutique offers mainly baby clothes and toddler's fashions. Importing all their merchandise directly from California, everything is of the finest quality. Pricing is exceptional as well. Merriest carries a wide variety to choose from including kids T-shirts,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], NBA (sizes T2-T7) jerseys and shorts, gorgeous girl's dresses, shoes and socks,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], baby belly belts,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], hair bows,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], gift baskets and yes, candies! Merriest Makers will also take special orders on all gift baskets for any occasion,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], holiday or just as a 'Thank You' gift (remember Mother's Day) plus they accept credit cards.
This vendor really got my attention as well. Bob Canales- DC as he prefers to be called and his wife Melissa own this shop on Booths 939 1040. They offer authentic western items. The shop itself has an Old West flavor to it- thus making it among the most unique shops at Traders Village,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], San Antonio. The Trading Post offers, among other things, knives,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], jewelry,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], vintage signs,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], exotic birds and cages. Their slogan: "we buy. sell and trade" and,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], of course,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], they sell Cowboy Collectibles. The only thing missing here is the sawdust on the floor! You may find them on Facebook as well under: Rafter C Trading Post. It's quite an enjoyable morning and afternoon when you visit these vendors at the famous Traders Village in San Antonio, Texas . see ya'll there !!
