While Ritzenhein's stride was deteriorating on the track, Kennedy was in the medical tent being worked on by a trainer and soothed by his wife, Melina. When he limped out for a TV interview, he saw Ritzenhein struggling.
"I just hope he never hurts himself tonight so he's out for a long period," Kennedy said.

Today, Keflezighi is on Athens. Kennedy,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], after he gets healthy,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], will begin training for November's Nyc Marathon. Ritzenhein will go back to cross-training and start preparing to defend his NCAA cross country title.
