Toy Fair is right around the corner in New York City next month. The industry will launch its next wave of toys in their grand fashion. Many have private showings with power point presentations. Others have an invite only booth where you can see all that they have to offer. Your Toy Maniac will be on hand discovering what new figures for movies, comics,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], and cartoons will be heading our way. Joe, Marvel,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], and of course Star Wars. Each year during the Q and A the same question always gets asked, are we going to see a Death Star? It was one of the essential play sets of the original series yet has not been remade. Your Toy Maniac has but together a short list of 5 other play sets that need to be remade by Hasbro. Their argument always seems to be cost but when other companies (Lego) have done one,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], you ask what they are waiting for.
i would so love Hasbro to make both echo base and Jabba palance,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych]. for one Echo base would be something new added to the star wars line. and two the Palace would fit perfect with the Jabba and throne pack,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych]. the Cantina would not be surprisded if Hasbro does release even as an exclusive,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych]. the Carbon freezing chamber,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych]. that thing is long over due though would require a new mold. as for Jabba's sail barge,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych]. Hasbro ruled that out a long time ago their reasoning its too obscure and would not sell to warent the cost to make it. as for the Death star. hasbro stated they would make it if it shows up like in the clone wars or some future film,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych]. though given that its proably the only big thing left to rerelease now that the Falcone and At have come out,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych]. would not rule out some day if mostly for Hasbro to finaly be able to stop being asked when a death star is coming .
