Signs in Saffron Walden local stop finally feature the city name carrying out a three-year campaign,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych].
Sir Alan Haselhurst, MP for the area,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], visited Audley End station in Wendens Ambo to unveil rewritten platform signs declaring the stop,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], Saffron Walden an addition which has been absent in excess of 4 decades.
The signs,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], paid for by train operator Greater Anglia,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], also feature the city symbol of a crocus. The signs are noticed as the initial step in uniting town and station, with a dedicated shuttle bus and cycle path to follow.
