This week was so hectic for me! Here's some examples of why:
1) I was still sick and still am,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych]. I was coughing constantly to the point where I had to go back to using my inhaler,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych].
2) I couldn't attend my Arabic class because I over inhaled from my inhaler causing me to feel this 'high' and tired feeling. It was horrible so the sub let me rest my head for the whole period because the computer screen made me dizzy and sitting up made me feel light headed,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych].
3) I had to work on my opening statement again becuase I forgot it during the inconvenience of the two snow days,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych]. (I knew it was going to happen,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych]! Then I got sick and wasn't in the mood to study my opening statement!)
4) I had gotten hired to be and intern for the SYPP (Seattle's Young People's Project),[link widoczny dla zalogowanych]. I'm really excited for it and so far having lots of fun with the group I'm working with.
5) I'm planning on starting a magazine for Cleveland called 'AKIMBO' with Mr. Edelstein. I was focused on my 'need to do's ' rather than what day it as! In class,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], I mainly worked on my spirit week page because it was my main priority to have it ready to be turned in. I asked Ms. Yaplee to check out the pages and we came to the conclusion that some of my pictures were pixellated. Therefore, we were able to some to the solution of resizing my images to 300 on Photoshop and then expanding them on InDesign. We tested out the printouts for my old method and the new one,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], and it was clear to see that the new method was better. With that done,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], I continued to edit my photos on the pages using my improved method. Ms. Yaplee then suggested that I use the second sheet of the spread for just Wacky Tacky day since I couldn't really get good examples of Eagle Day. So for a day or two of the week, I worked on adding new pictures and captions onto the Wacky Tacky page. I came across a picture of tow girls I couldn't identify and on Friday I came across one of the girls and found out that it was Kie'Angela Grant and Tionna Miller. I also worked on my staff page and I was able to fill in the individual pictures of each staff member . I thought it was really cute because of how I positioned the photos in a circular pattern with Nicole ,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], Lecole and Ms. Yaplee in the center considering their higher positons. I can't really say anything about it but I did appreciate the website Ms. Yaplee reccomended us for InDesign techniques since I was that one who asked for it. I guess everything will be clarified on Monday as Ms. Yaplee said. That was pretty much how my week went. Although it was hectic, I was also able to have lots of fun! For example.
1) I got hired for SYPP and was able to have fun and meet new people.
2) I went to the basketball game against Mount Ranier. It was fun and interesting to watch,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych]. The team is pretty good!
3) Me and Steven were able to work things out and spent time at Alki enjoying the beautiful city view and of course each others' presence. I had fun and I'm happy to be with him again.
3) My friend Michelle and I attended out leadership class of One World Now at City Hall. It was really interesting and fun. I was able to try Indian food and learn more about how they commit abortions and murders on female fetuses and children because they don't carry the family name and the Dowry system.
4)I was able to buy my new shoes,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych]. I love those sexy things,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych]! They keep my style SPICY,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych]!
5) I saw my bestfriend Kourtney Scipio since he's here for his break from Eastern,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych]!
6) I went to my little cousin Daizha's winter concert at her school,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych]! It was so cute,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych]! I didn't know hip hop could be so well presented in a Christian school.
7) My auntie gave birth to my new nephew JR. He's so adorable! I can't wait until I get better so I could hold him,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych]!
