After i would be a young girl I recall going into the large shops on a Saturday morning with my mother to look. The women working in this department always appeared as if glamorous movie stars to me. Their makeup was so perfect, their clothing impeccable as well as their style was so chic. Through the years every time I walked through any cosmetic section of any store, I usually felt like I had been beneath them. They held their noses high and had an aura of superiority about them.

If this is the case, so why do they need to be so snotty?
A dark tone in their voices alone is just one of aloofness. Is it just me who feels insecure concerning the way I look, my lack of makeup, or my clothing which makes me think they're looking at me inside a negative light? There always seems to be diet program them waiting to pounce on me if I even look in their direction.
I also have a question concerning the way they appear. When they supposedly know so much about skincare, why are they wearing a lot foundation and powder on their faces that you would need a chisel to erase it? And don't even get me started on the eyeshadow or the tarantula eye lashes. Mama Mia, don't they look in the mirror before they leave for work in the morning? Are they all believe that a consumer may wish to emulate their look? These are questions that I personally need answered.
There are plenty of different brand names available, how can anybody know which method is the best one for our particular skin? Ask any one of them and you'll get a different answer.

There was a time when I'd make sure I looked close to as good as possible after i needed to visit a department store, especially a cosmetic counter and I did empirically discover that I was treated better when I looked . better. Now I have abandoned everything and I wear minimal makeup in the better of times but bully behavior appears to work equally as well. I hate to admit it but I've had the same experience. It seems strange because after i approach with bare face I should end up like a cosmetic 911 call and a pair of of them should go to assist me in covering everything up. The truth is that after I shop I rarely wear much makeup, I think they realize I am not an enormous constitute buyer and so they have little interest.
Some are actually great but others forget about me when I've looked at something and return to their conversation about the latest glycolic acid peel. I'm stuck on Lancome eyeshadow because it has enough pigment to cover well with so little product however we now have Sephora and they have happy women trolling the aisles waiting to be helpful.
I now buy cosmetics online and encounter no one.
I believe their job involves intimidation - you need to feel bad because then you will buy more products to help you be "knowledgeable,", "hip", and "well-made-up" like they are. I don't buy a large amount of make-up however i have to get my concealor at MAC because I'm too pale for grocery store concealors, and i am happy to say that even in France the MAC individuals are always cool and available to giving advice, etc. Some of sales also often goes towards worthy causes, like AIDS research, and their make-up isn't tested on animals. I say head to MAC the next time and forget those snobby fools!
This really is bringing back some memories of Frederick k and Nelsons in Downtown Seattle.
