Father and son determined to carry on classic car business after fire in Rackheath
The fire broke out on Wednesday afternoon at Classic Car Restorations in Newman Road,tory burch bag, Rackheath.
An extractor fan caught alight in the paint workshop,nike soccer cleats, destroying thousands of pounds of tools and three newly painted VW Campervan doors.
The vehicles, which were in the main workshop,nike cleats, a classic Mini Cooper S,tory burch bags, a 1944 Railton, a Datsun 240, a 1972 VW Campervan and a mark one Escort, were not damaged.
Roy Hume, who started the business in 1988, said: "It's a very good little business, it has done pretty well.
"I have been involved with cars all my working life."
The paint workshop was in two parts: a preparation area where the extractor fan was and another area behind it which was used for spraying body parts,cheap soccer cleats.
The charred building is currently sealed off before insurers inspect the damage, but the father and son team are still able to work in the main shop.
Mr Hume's son,tory burch bag, Graham, 30, who works fulltime at the business, said: "We don't know how much time we have lost due to the fire. We will have to find a way of working around things. I managed to push all the cars out in time so they weren't damaged. It is good that we can still carry on and that we can still work."
