We have a Van's outlet near our house. A friend mentioned that Van's fit their son's fat feet,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], so we tried them for our daughter. The prices at the outlet are anywhere from $15 to $30 and they almost always have a buy one get one half off sale on toddler shoes. They have a pretty good selection of velcro ones which would be the ones I'd recommend. The slip ons don't work well for fat feet and who wants to spend time tying shoes (but maybe that's just me. You can easily loosen the velcro to get their feet in. We usually buy 2 sizes at once to get the discount for the sale and then we make fewer trips.
