True aficionados would never confuse Diesel's take on the drop-crotch jean with the man's harem pants.

"You see it a lot in continental Europe and it is a real fashion statement,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych]."
The man-about-town looks modelled yesterday at the SS12 press day featured a structured Austin Reed blazer with leather detail on the lapel and a colourful trim of blue gingham beneath,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych].
The layered look included a Fred Perry zip-through sweatshirt and was finished off with Polo Ralph Lauren high-top canvas sneakers.
To the uninitiated, the trend is being hailed as city sportif where you mix structured jackets with sporting apparel like zip through tops like Adidas Original or EA7.
