He made all seven of his free throw attempts. Minnesota shot 50 percent from the field and went 9-of-16 from beyond the 3-point arc.The Golden Gophers (21-12) improved the Big Ten Conference's record in this year's tournament to 6-1. Wisconsin was the only team from that conference to lose its opening game.UCLA (25-10) was led by Shabazz Muhammad with 20 points. The Bruins connected on just 20 field goals.
