BA boss Martin Broughton attacks US over redundant airport security,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych]
BA chairman Martin Broughton said measures such as forcing passengers to consider off shoes and separate checks of laptop bags were redundant and unnecessary,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych].
His comments come because the United States is making excessive demands for that screening of airline passengers,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], including measures it does not require upon us domestic flights, the Financial Times reported.
Mr Broughton aired his complaint at the annual conference from the UK Airport Operators Association where he said it was time other countries,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], for example Britain,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], stopped kowtowing to America's beefed-up security demands.
Australian passengers flying domestically and internationally have to remove laptops from bags and perhaps shoes,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych].
British Airways said the report was accurate,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], but it did not possess a text from the chairman's remarks.
"America does not do internally many of the things they demand that people do,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych]," Mr Broughton was quoted as saying.
"We shouldn't are a symbol of that. They still haven't decided if it is a laptop or it's not a laptop. There are a lot of layers,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], an excessive amount of inconsistency."
America's Transportation Security Administration did not directly react to Mr Broughton's demands to scrap excessive measures,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych].
But an argument through the organisation said hello worked with all international airlines to make sure passenger safety,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych].

As somebody who has been through Heathrow Airport many times, my experience has been that after I arrive, I invariably need to participate in a disagreement and among their Civil Servants,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], who're believing that I've come there to steal employment from some poor starving Brit (I have a job thanks). Every time I leave there, I am invariably picked "at random" to possess my hand luggage rummaged through. I use it the conveyor belt to become x-rayed,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], simply to get it disappear before it comes down the other side. After that it mysteriously re-appears at the far end of the line of customs officers. If they must training, would they have the decency to answer me when I inquire as to why my bag has suddenly disappeared,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], instead of serving as if they can't see or hear me, and spare me the challenging guy impersonations once they finally do respond.

Remember that many of us are spending money on the incompetance of yankee security and military organisations. By acknowleging these failings,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], it's tacitly acknowledged the security already in position was sufficient and should have stopped the attack. Many reports have stated the huge failings of the multiple layers of security on 9-11 whcih could have been enough to prevent the attacks if proper procedures were followed. Yet there's still a chorus from the fearful sheep of the world with increasingly more security be added so that they can delude themselves that flying is 100% safe. Face it,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], if your determined person or organisation wants to reduce a plane they are able to. There are rc planes that could be loaded with explosive, homemade rockets and 1001 different ways that this can be accomplished. Stripping people of their rights and dignity only hands the 'terrorists' victory on the plate. People simply need to get it through their scalp that they'll die by any means of the way and that attempting to prevent this reality through regulation only helps make the 'life' that's to be protected not worth living.

Its a SECURITY INDUSTRY for creating profit from fear in the expense of sheep who give up freedom and liberty to some "government officer with a badge" in the mistaken belief they are SAFE. Life has a few risks maybe search your homes; more people die in home accidents,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych].
Only safe way is to handcuff all you frightened travellers for your seats and put a a bag over your head. Haven't been any hijackings on rendition flights. Oh I forgot about the crazy flight crew equipped with a control column, I'm one of them.
