Ziggy Ansah back at practice
Getty ImagesAfter refusing to comment on the reason for his absence from practice for a while, the Lions revealed Wednesday that rookie defensive end Ziggy Ansah has been sidelined by a concussion. It turns out that the revelation was just in time for Ansah to return to action. Kyle Meinke of MLive.com reports that Ansah participated in all the drills going on during the 30 minutes of practice open to the media after being limited to light jogging during Wednesday's session.Thursday's practice for the Lions is unpadded,Christian Louboutin Black, as was the August 24 session when Ansah suffered the concussion,Christian Louboutin Sale, so Ansah was limited to hitting sleds and pads along with his teammates on the defensive line. The protocols for a return from concussion are such that his presence on the field doesn't mean that he's got a full green light to be on the field for the season opener as well, but things are certainly moving in the right direction. We'll find out how far in that direction they're moving and how much the Vikings offensive line might need to worry about Ansah in the next couple of days.
