But Shay's not about to hide her northernly heritage. She's a proud native of both Vancouver and Toronto. "I kind of consider myself, seriously,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], to be from both places," Mitchell said. "I can't choose. It's the Canucks and the Maple Leafs,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], you know?" No,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], we don't know at all,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], but we'll take her Canadian word for it.
So does Shay share her character's jockishness? Not really. "My character Emily is the athletic,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], sporty one of the bunch,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], but in real life I am the girliest of girls,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych]," Shay says. "It's so funny, because some of my friends, after they saw the first episode (which aired last week),[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], they called me and said,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], 'Oh my God, we never have seen you in sneakers and your hair in a pony tail.'
